The Opportunity

Hollywood Private Hospital (HPH) is seeking nurses to join our Gurney Ward that offers one of the most comprehensive selections of surgical services in WA’s largest private hospital. The specialties encompass General Surgical/Vascular/Infectious Diseases patients.

Duties and responsibilities will involve, but are not limited to:

• Delivery of high-quality patient care to a diverse range of acute care patients
• Assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of patients
• Ensuring all care is delivered in line with the core values and strategic direction of Hollywood Private Hospital and Ramsay Health Care
• Providing comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients – including complex wound management

About you

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with recent experience.

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
• A minimum of 3 years post registration experience, including 3 years’ experience in General Surgical and Vascular patients
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
• Understanding scope of practice
• Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
• Complex wound management skills

Remuneration: On offer is base annual salary ranging from $75,436.57 - $99,268.14 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA gr1-gr8)
