The Opportunity
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled ICU Nurse to join our critical care team - permanent Fulltime role on offer. The ICU Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients, monitoring complex medical conditions, and responding rapidly to changes in patient status.
Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity intensive care environment
• Monitor and manage life-support equipment and invasive lines
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care
• Administer medications, interpret diagnostics, and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during critical situations
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold infection control standards
Skills and Experience
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Min 12 months experience in ICU or critical care setting preferred
• Ventilator competent and confident managing mechanically ventilated patients
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification desirable
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills

Remuneration
$37.75 - $53.02 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements
