We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our vibrant and supportive Allied Health team on a casual basis.

This opportunity is ideal for a confident clinician who enjoys working across a variety of clinical settings and is available to provide backfill support.

About the Role

In this role, you will deliver high-quality physiotherapy care across inpatient rehabilitation, day rehabilitation, and a mixed medical ward, working as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive physiotherapy assessments.
• Delivering individual and group therapy sessions.
• Developing and implementing effective, patient-centred treatment and discharge plans.
• Contributing to improved functional outcomes and quality of life for patients.
• Supporting service delivery across Nambour Selangor Private Hospital and neighbouring Ramsay Health Care facilities as required.

About You

You are an experienced Physiotherapist with strong clinical reasoning skills and a proactive, flexible approach. You thrive in team-based environments and are comfortable stepping into busy hospital settings with minimal supervision.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in rehabilitation and/or sub-acute medical settings.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning, judgement, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to develop, implement, and evaluate evidence-based assessment and treatment plans.
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience (preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a varied caseload.
• Previous experience in an acute or rehabilitation hospital environment.

The Hospital

Nambour Selangor Private Hospital is a small 4 ward hospital with a 34-bed inpatient rehabilitation ward, a subacute medical ward, small surgical unit and a busy day rehabilitation department. We have a large Allied Health Multi-disciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Exercise Physiology and Allied Health Assistants. Requirements

• Must provide or complete a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
• Depending on the role, proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
