About the Opportunity

You’ll be part of a dedicated team caring for patients in our 24-bed Mental Health Unit, supporting individuals admitted for mental health and drug and alcohol programs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well in dynamic environments, and takes pride in delivering person-centred care.

Working closely with your Department Manager and the wider multidisciplinary team, you’ll be supported to provide high-quality nursing care aligned with the values and strategic direction of both the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be trusted to use your clinical judgement, planning skills, and adaptability to respond to changing patient needs.

About You

You’re a caring and collaborative nurse who enjoys supporting others and contributing to a positive team culture. You’re passionate about mental health nursing and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.

You’ll bring:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• At least 2 years’ experience in an acute hospital setting
• Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in mental health nursing
• Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate patient care
• Excellent time management and customer service skills
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment while building strong, respectful relationships

Remuneration: On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01+ superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 1 gr2-gr8)
