Are you passionate about safeguarding critical healthcare technology? Ramsay Health Care is seeking a dedicated Biomedical Security Risk Analyst to support our Medical Device Security team.
In this vital role, you will be instrumental in identifying and assessing cybersecurity risks associated with clinical, biomedical and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) devices. You will evaluate, document, and communicate security risks, assist in developing mitigation strategies, and help stakeholders understand essential cybersecurity measures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Medical Device Security team in risk identification and assessment for clinical, biomedical and IoMT devices.
• Evaluate, document, and communicate cybersecurity risks.
• Assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT experts, biomedical engineering teams, hospital property managers and vendors.
• Enhance the security posture of medical devices across the organisation.
• Contribute to business continuity and patient safety by minimising cybersecurity threats.

Essential
• Qualification: Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Clinical services or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Understanding of clinical and healthcare environment.
• Ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with the security aspects of clinical / biomedical/ IoMT devices and their integration in clinical settings.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity & risk management tools and cybersecurity concepts and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, Biomedical Engineering, Procurement, Clinical Governance, Risk Management, and Legal stakeholders.
Desirable
• Previous experience working in a health care environment.
• Demonstrated experience in the hospital/healthcare sector, with an understanding of operating within a large organisational structure.
• Understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, and their interactions.
