Registered Nurse – Midwifery, Maternal & Child Health, Early Parenting

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Midwifery, Maternal & Child Health (MCHN), and Early Parenting to join our supportive community health team. In this role, you will provide expert care, guidance, and education to families, supporting maternal and infant health from pregnancy through the early parenting period.

Our Early Parenting Centre (EPC) Residential Program is a 20-bed specialist inpatient unit, recognised as a long-standing centre of excellence. The program is dedicated to supporting parents as they navigate the challenges that can arise with the arrival of a new baby. Through compassionate care and guidance, we aim to empower families during this important stage of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based care in midwifery, maternal & child health, and early parenting programs
• Conduct assessments, health checks, and developmental monitoring for infants and children
• Support and educate parents on feeding, sleep, bonding, and wellbeing
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic family care
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and community health programs

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in midwifery, MCHN, or early parenting programs
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to family-centred, safe, and high-quality care
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Remuneration: On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $36.13 - $ 49.96 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC RN/Midwife gr1-gr8)

Requirements

• Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
