About the Role
The Maternity Unit at St George Private features 6 modern birthing rooms, 23 private rooms and a Special Care Nursery. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nursing staff, lactation consultants and allied health professionals’ work together to ensure a comfortable and confident experience – before, during and after pregnancy. Our maternity care also extends to an Early Parenting Centre and Perinatal Unit, with opportunities to work within these areas.
Your Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife
- Dual Registration will be highly regarded
- Minimum of 3 years’ birth suite or postnatal experience
- Previous experience in SCN/ NICU (essential)
- The ability to speak a language other than English will be advantageous, but not essential.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Team player attitude
- Must have flexibility to work a range of shifts including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends

Requirements
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
