About the Role:
- Supportive and enthusiastic consultants, with a FACEM presence in ED for 16 hours+ per day
- Compassionate and friendly nursing staff with great relationships with the ED medical team. (JHC has been rated ‘A’ for culture and morale by the AMA WA 5 years in a row.)
- 24 months of ACEM-accredited advanced training (urban district) and paediatric logbook
- Access to multiple rotations including critical care, anaesthetics, paediatrics, general medicine.
- Active education program with up to five hours of protected teaching time per week, including ED registrar CME and WBA sessions
- 0.125fte of non-clinical time or pro rata with a supervised non-clinical portfolio.
- Select from a range of essential non-clinical skills including quality and safety, audit, departmental service improvement and management, education, and JMO supervision and performance management to enhance your qualifications for FACEM applications.
- Thorough preparation for the Fellowship Clinical exam with a track record of high success rates.
- Access to ASUM supervisors for completion of ultrasound logbooks/CCPU
- Multiple courses run by JHC FACEMS – EPICC workshop series, JUST ultrasound course, ACUTE emergency course, JHC OSCE course. For more details visit www.emergucate.com.

About You, essential criteria:
- ACEM trainees who have successfully completed their critical care time and the fellowship written examination.
- Current AHPRA registration
- Innovative thinking and strong leadership skills
- Networking and interpersonal skills and ability to engage with all stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to uphold and promote the Ramsay Way core values
- Preference for those in their final year of FACEM training and those who have completed their paediatric logbook.
