The Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses, with recent experience in a perioperative setting to join our team. The successful candidates must be committed to the provision of a high level of customer service and quality health care in a team environment.
As a member of our recovery team, you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Clinical Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients throughout their procedures.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as a patient advocate and ensuring optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative journey
- Supporting perioperative workflow and maintaining timely theatre schedules
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment
- Promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions
Skills and Experience
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years postgraduate nursing experience in a PACU/Recovery setting is essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
