The Opportunity
We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurses, with recent experience in a perioperative setting to join our friendly Theatre team. In this role, you will be supported to utilise your experience and skills and become a valued member of a team that is committed to providing the highest standard of care.
Our theatre and recovery areas continue to expand, creating opportunities to join us in a range of areas – you choose! This will allow you to gain exposure to some of Australia’s leading surgical specialists and practicing disciplines such as Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Neurology, Orthopaedic, Vascular, and Gynaecology.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as a patient advocate and ensuring optimal outcomes throughout the perioperative journey
- Supporting perioperative workflow and maintaining timely theatre schedules
- Communicating effectively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and nursing teams
- Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and adaptability in a busy environment
- Promoting a culture of safety, empathy, and respect across all interactions
Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a perioperative setting (essential)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environment

Remuneration:
A base hourly rate ranging from $41.89 - $54.01 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife gr2-gr8)
