Maintenance and Facilities Officer – North Shore Private Hospital
Permanent Full Time, Part Time, or Casual position available.
About The Role
As a Maintenance Officer at North Shore Private Hospital, you will work at the direction of the Facilities & Maintenance Manager to undertake all assigned maintenance duties, including work related to general hospital maintenance including planned and reactive maintenance.
Duties may include:
General Maintenance and repairs – this may include medical gas distribution and ordering, patching and painting, daily plant inspections and meter reads, lighting maintenance, tiling, basic plumbing and other general repairs
Also:
- Assist with preparing wards for refurbishment
- Assist trades staff with the completion of their duties
- Complete all planned works whilst also attending to any immediate requirements that arise
- Work alongside the Hospital’s preferred suppliers where relevant and ensuring all work carried out by a contractor is within the planned budget
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to and work areas are kept tidy
About You
No formal maintenance experience is required but you will be a positive and effective team player who is keen to learn new skills. You will exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with colleagues and customers.
You will also demonstrate:
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence
- Willingness to work at other nearby Ramsay facilities when required
- Ability to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to and work is carried out in a tidy, safe manner

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
