About the Role
Victorian Day Procedure Centre (VDPC) is a free-standing day procedure unit, undertaking surgical specialties of IVF, Pain management and Endoscopy. Our service aims to provide an excellent standard of patient care by facilitating a comfortable, friendly and efficient process for patients. Patients are admitted and discharged directly through the Day Procedure Centre which is fully equipped to conduct diagnostic gastroscopy and colonoscopy procedures and does not require an overnight hospital stay.
As Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will perform duties that offer support and guidance to the recovery and anaesthetic nursing team. Leading the way with exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills and a high expectation of excellence in nursing care, this role will provide an opportunity to strengthen team leader capabilities.
What you will bring
- Current qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 3 years minimum experience as a Nurse in a perioperative team or unit.
- Previous experience with IVF, Endoscopy and reprocessing endoscopes is highly desirable.
- Clinical leadership experience will be highly regarded.
- Relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications and/or management qualifications will be highly regarded.

Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $55.92 - $ 57.76 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (VIC, RHC Nurses & Midwives EA, ANUM Gr1-Gr3)

Requirements
- Provide or complete a National Police Check (conducted within the last 12 months)
- Depending on the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
