About the Role
We have exciting permanent and casual opportunities for an enthusiastic, dependable and customer-focused team member to join our welcoming Sterilising Department at Pindara Private Hospital. This is your chance to play a key role behind the scenes, supporting safe, high-quality care for our patients while working with a supportive and collaborative team.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment for both clinical departments and external customers.
  • Work in conjunction with the Operating Theatre staff to provide timely sterile products, trays and equipment where applicable.
  • Work efficiently with your team to manage pressing deadlines.
  • Undertake some lifting and be able to be on your feet for the shift.

You will be a critical part of the surgical process, your ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment will see you succeed.

 

Key Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Certificate III qualification in Sterilising Services or currently enrolled in Sterilisation course.
  • Experienced CSSD technician.
  • Your positive outlook will enable you to collaborate effectively with our team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
  • Exceptional organisational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the principles behind AS 5369:2023.
  • Ability to work 7 DAY rotating roster AM, PM and night shifts

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
