Physiotherapist 12 month full-time maternity leave cover contract beginning January 2025!
About the Role
Our Physiotherapists work within a supportive team of professionals who are passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. You will be responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning across the hospital across a diverse patient caseload including orthopaedic, reconditioning and neurological patients.
This position will see you predominately working with inpatients and day patients on the rehabilitation ward with the opportunity to work on the acute wards from time to time. You will also have the opportunity to run individual, group and hydrotherapy sessions and be involved in the development of new patient programs.

Warners Bay has a Rehabilitation Unit with an experienced team of professionals who work together to assist in a patients rehabilitation.
What you’ll bring
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and registration with AHPRA
- Ability to effectively assess, plan and implement individualised physiotherapy treatment programs
- Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage caseload demands
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
- Commitment to professional development and maintenance of current evidence-based practice
- Ability to run hydrotherapy sessions
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
- Ability to work Saturdays as required.
- Experience in rehabilitation is desirable but not essential. New graduates encouraged to apply.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
